I use Vegas pro 14.0 (Build 720) 64-bit, running in Windows7
It doesnt happen with all clips, but with a good number of them. The problem is present in the preview, and in the final render too.
You can clearly see it here, first with two clips, then in a transition.
How can I fix it?

However Action! footage often causes problems with Vegas. I'm not sure that downgrading to an older driver is a good idea, so I tried converting my files with Handbrake, and it worked! The down side is that the converted clips seem to have a lower video quality, even if they maintain their original resolution. I guess I need to understand how Handbrake works.
I'll switch to OBS from now on to record my screen.

Edit: I just realized the preview gets laggy only when playing through the converted videos. I don't think it makes much sense, bacause these clips' file sizes have been drastically decreased. Is there a way to fix this?
Downgrading a graphics driver very common advice on this forum and usually goes without incident. You can always upgrade again.
With Handbrake, on the Video tab, choose H.264 (x264) and try a value of 20 on the "Constant Quality" slider. Move it further to the right (a lower number) if you need even more quality but it's not worth going too far.
