Importing tiff squence into Vegas

carlmart wrote on 3/1/2023, 10:07 AM

Last week I used Topaz to enhance an SD file to video convert it to HD 1080p.

I'm not sure if there's another way, as this my first time with Topaz. I didn't expect it to create 90,000+ TIFF images and I don't know how to get them back together again.

On the Vegas import list there is no tiff option

So how should I proceed to open the video in Vegas, adding the audio separately from the original source.

Thanks

It's best to choose a movie output format in Topaz, not an image sequence.

That said, Vegas 20 does as good a job with AI Upscale, and is way faster than Topaz for me.

Well, that's awesome and fantastic news. How do I do to process my video in Vegas with AI Upscale, best quality it can give me for going to 1080p? Is there any tutorial explaining exactly that?

Any folks that did it, please chime in.

@carlmart Hi, File - Import - Media, choose your file & the first object in the Tiff sequence, you'll then get option to Import Image Sequence,

OK, I could upload the tif files to Vegas and put them on the time line. Audio will come later.

Is there a way I can upload an image of the Vegas screen here?

Use "prt sc" (keyboard) to save the screen image on your computer and then edit in your image editor to remove any unwanted sections of the image that may relate to your personal information - or use the Windows Snipper tool (ctrl+shift+S) which allows you to frame the image to be saved - and then upload to the forum by adding a comment to this thread. The upload button is arrowed here:

Make sure that your image is in one of the nominated formats.
