Is movie studio compatible with vegas pro plugins?

I have movie studio 16 platinum and was wondering if vegas pro plugins were compatible with movie studio because I wanted to get the external plugin sapphire.

There is no stock answer, Each third party developer makes their own decisions regarding version compatibility and that's who you will need to check with.

A check on the Boris site appears to show that Sapphire are compatible with Pro only.
