Scenario:
- 2-camera sports shoot
- Wide-cam shot 4K
- Setup in Vegas timeline, the wide track is duplicated (to track 3) and pushed 50% to give a "3rd camera perspective"
The Problem: when the three track's events are converted to takes on the multi-cam master-track, all FX (including pan/crop) are removed. Now camera 3 (pushed wide) looks identical to camera 1 (wide) since the pan/crop was removed.
My Temporary Workaround: To progress my work I just chose to use Excaliber's workflow instead for this one since it preserves all event FX.. but it'd be nice to know how to do this using the native Multi-cam workflow too.
The Question: Short of rendering the wide camera's media pushed and then dropping that into track 3, how else can this be done? Obviously track motion won't help out in this scenario either. *scratches head*
