Key-framing: first key-frame is always wrong

LeroiCasey wrote on 11/18/2020, 1:36 PM

Whenever I automate something using key-frames, the first frame is always wrong. For example, if I set a clip's screen position to the left (key-frame set) and make it slowly slide to the right (key-frame set), the first frame (or two?) ALWAYS jumps from a position I didn't set.

Anyone know why that is? Is it a bug? Is there a resolution?

TIA.

@LeroiCasey Are you key-framing track motion? If you are, it's important to set your first key-frame right at the start of your event.

That was my first thought too. Always have an anchor keyframe at 00:00:000.
