Mediafx ways

Now that V17 officially made an icon to see mediafx obviously in a clip if its applied or not, so that made me happy. I've been using mediafx to add fx after I add a preset in the event level, cause you know adding a single fx in event level overwrites by the preset you add & also when I use vegasaur to remove all eventfx in a clip, the fx that I want is still intact via mediafx.

So what I want to know if there's a faster way/technique to copy or paste mediafx to another clip, cause sadly 'selectively paste event attributes' don't support it, 'paste event attributes' is a good way but it overwrites/involved eventfx which is not ideal. Also a way to remove mediafx in a selected clip like vegasaur does in removing all eventfx, tired of the manual way of going in every right click deleting single one of them. Maybe you have available script in your treasure chest there. Thanks.

Try copying the clip, then Paste Attributes to the new clip.

@Musicvid sorry, I've just edited my post a while ago & that's the way I do it but...

The way I see it now, you want to add common fx without replacing existing fx, that may be possible.

If you arrange your tracks carefully, you could add them as a batch at that level.

Any detailed instructions on how to do it would be so much appreciated.

Could you use Track FX instead of Media FX?
