I posted earlier that my MOV files are not recognized by the Movie Studio 15. I think I have more information as to why.
The MOV files that I create on iPhone have resolution 1920x1080, data rate 16704 kbps, total bitrate 16805 kbps, frame rate 30.01 frames/sec. When I connect my iPhone to my PC and copy the files over everything works fine. However, sometimes for whatever reason I get a disconnect error from iPhone and cannot copy.
I tried 3 other methods: copying from iPhone to a thumbdrive, copying to Dropbox, copying to OneDrive. In each case format of the copied file changes to resolution 1920x1088, data rate 8003 kbps, total bitrate 8090 kbps, frame rate 29.99 frames/second. These MOV files are the ones not recognized by the Movie Studio.
I have 3 questions, hopefully someone can help me:
- (unrelated to Movie Studio) If anyone is familiar with the problem of iPhone getting disconnected during copying, do you know how to solve this? I have iPhoneX and iPhone 8 Plus, latest iOS.
- (unrelated to Movie Studio) Does anyone know how to copy the MOV files to thumbdrive, OneDrive, or Dropbox without changing their parameters?
- Is there a way to get Movie Studio to understand MOV files with these new parameters? I can successfully play them on my PC using "Movies & TV" Windows 10 player.
Thank you very much in advance.
