I've posted this before but no one has offered a solution. I've downloaded Movie Studio 17 and just cannot open it. It says I nee to check my internet but my internet is fine. I was told to turn off my Windows Defender but that doesn't work. I'm beginning to think this is a scam and would like a refund .
Where did you download your version? There are legal vendors in addition to Magix, which is not responsible if you accidentally downloaded an illegal copy from an unaffiliated website.

I downloaded on Magix website. Paid the full price.
@Camden Ok let's start from scratch.
Are you using a stand alone pc or one that is part of a network?
Where are you trying to download from? A link in an email from Magix or from your account on the Magix site?
Have you managed to download the Download Manager which gives you a list of items to download.
And please don't make multiple posts. Stick to one on one problem.
One more question -- Do you have Windows Administrator privileges?
Stand alone PC. I tried both a link from the email I got from Magix and at the download manager.
Also yes I have admin privileges.
No other antivirus programs? Are you running on a VPN or proxy server by chance?
Manual registration is still possible, I believe. Many have had luck by contacting the Sales Team.
