When I try to import mp4s, I get the error, "the activation code is incorrect". If I deactivate the registration, then the trial version opens the mp4s fine. Movie Studio Platinum is registered correctly.
I did find, in this forum, people who had this same issue, with no resolution aside from reinstalling windows. Does anyone else have any possibly less drastic things I could try?
I have the same problem. I wrote the support about it and i got reply with instruction to deactiveate, unistall, delete installation.ini file in C:\ProgramData\VEGAS\(your product)\installation.ini, reinstall and activate again.
Firstly it help, but now after one month on not using software, it occurs again and the solution above DID NOT HELP this time. Anyone have any ideas hot to fix it?
The old advice is, if you are re-installing/activating, do not re-enter your old machine ID. It will regenerate if you leave it blank.
