Moving Preview Window and Maximum Frame Rate

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. I can't seem to find the answer.

I have 2 basic questions before buying Vegas Movie Studio 15:

* Will it support moving the preview window to a second monitor? I downloaded the trial and can not move the windows (no 4 or 5 verticle dots, etc.).

* what is the maximum frame rate it will support? I would like to use it to render 240 frames per second with the new GoPro 6.

Thank you!!!

You can move the floating windows by grabbing the window's tab, first moving it up or down, then moving it whereever you want it to.

Maximum supported project frame rate is 120 fps. But rendering is a different thing as the supported render frame rate depends on what the selected video standard defines. In most cases video standards support a maximum of 60 fps.

Thank you Marco! I hope to render to 60 fps at 1080. So 240 fps will not work on this release. It looks like I will have to wait until a future release for 240. I would image Vegas Pro is the same, with a limit at 120 fps?

Yes, for the project frame rate 120 fps is the limit in Vegas Pro, too.

donaly,

Why 240fps? Are you doing super slomo?

Doing it because GoPro can shoot 240fps doesn't make it a production or delivery format. Like Protune, it's practical uses are very limited at this time.

Thanks to you both!
