mp4 suddenly stopped opening in SVpro13 (aac to pcm audio difference)

After working for many months with mp4 videos from my cellphone (LG V20-H990), the new ones suddenly can't be opened.

So I'm posting two mediainfo's: the first DOES WORK, the second one DOESN'T. Vegas doesn't even show properties in the import media. I've already checked QT's different versions uninstalling completely and installing. No K-lite installed, just ffdshow but I had it more than a year ago.
As you can see, the only difference is the PCM audio instead of AAC.. Is that really an issue?? I have used other videos with PCM audio and worked fine

Pcm is nonstandard with AVC.

Aac audio is the accepted norm with AVC.

What can I do? I want to have PCM because I'm looking for HQ audio and that's the format my phone uses when I activate hifi and plug in the external microphone

Probably just demux in AVIDemux and open separate streams in Vegas.

Should take only a minute if you Copy both streams.

Should read "PCM is non-standard with AVC in an .mp4 wrapper."

My old Canon camera records AVC and PCM in a MOV wrapper all day, every day.

My new camera records AVC and PCM (XAVC) in an MP4 wrapper.

The fix is probably still the same.

Yup, that is correct. If the OP changes the extension to .MOV, does that do the trick?

Don't know. I'd probably demux as you say and remux to something that doesn't want AAC.
