Need help with MS16 rendering problem

Using Vegas Movie studio 16.0 Platinum purchased last week (end sept 2019). Trying to make movies with both photos & videos + sound tracks. When I transfer videos downloaded from Youtube, I can see them properly on the Vegas preview screen when I click on "Read" button. But unfortunately, once the movie has been edited, some of the videos show up properly, no problem, meanwhile some others do not appear at all (black screen) : why ??

Can someone help me on that issue and give me some tips ?

Which button are you referring to as the "Read" button?

We can only help if you answer the hint of @Musicvid where he asked for what you are doing.
What are your sourcefiles that give those problems, your projectsettings, your VMS version number and so on. How you can give the answers is in the helpfile he gave ( in blue).
If you click on that blue part of his answer you find the help that is also for VMS.
