Is there no sound on all the audio tracks? Have you checked the Mute buttons in the audio events, tracks, sub-masters and master). If a Solo switch is engaged and there is no audio exists there, that could mute all the other audio as well. Volume envelopes, event gain and an automated mute settings can result in a "no sound" scenario as well.

Does the master bus meter show activity? If so, check the settings in "Options> Preferences> Audio devices"

I get sound in version 19 , but nothing on version 20.

Sounds like a problem but seems like you're enjoying the silence and not willing to bring the noise back.

Bingo! audio set to mute... fixed, The mute option was disabled on the the track. Glad i kept 19 installed just in case.
