No video track after importing video

Hi Everybody!

I have a strange problem with Move Studio 17. I recorded a few videos with my iphone XS - all of them are in 1080p 60fps and .mov format. I converted them through VLC into .mp4 videos, so that i could import them to Movie Studio. Then I created new project and load these clips, but there is only sound - no video tracks. I searched this problem in google, but didn't find any solutions. I work on PC with windows 10 and I have the latest version of Movie studio 17. What is the problem?

+Last time i worked in movie studio was in august 2020 - everything was fine at that time.

Converted by VLC is something total different than a conversion for a video editor as Vegas, VLC is a player.
So next time try to convert it by the here much used free Handbrake to a mp4 with constant framerate.

What happens when you import the mov files into Vegas? My camera uses .mov container and works fine. Depends what's in it.

Ok, my problem is solved - I have just installed quick time player and enabled right option in prefreneces, so I can import .mov files, but there is another problem... I can't see video in timeline - there is a frame of the clip, but without the view of actual video. I can see the video in preview window, don't know what happend. Any thoughts what' the problem?

Can you post the mediainfo of the mov file you're talking about?

Yes. Options->Preferences->Video->Thumbnails
