OBS mp4 Videos Become Glitchy and Discolored When Imported in Vegas

Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 14

Hi there. I am absolutely desperate for help. I've searched solutions online, and while some have worked for others, none have worked for me. I just want to know a concrete way to resolve this issue.

I've been using Vegas for years, but I just bought a new computer. HP Envy laptop, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U 1.80GHz 1.99GHz, 12.0 GB of RAM, 64-bit operating system, x64 based processor.

Not sure how much of that you need, but let me know what else you need to know.

I've been using OBS, a program that allows me to record whats happening on my computer screen, for a while as well. Now that I have a new computer, I've newly downloaded both OBS and Vegas. Now when I import mp4 files recorded from OBS into Vegas, they appear glitchy, dark and discolored, blocky, and completely unusable. They still look this way (though to a lesser degree) after rendering.

I am at a loss. I don't know the source of the issue, but I know it's possible to use these files in Vegas because I've been doing it for a few years now. I'm not sure what my new computer is lacking, or the new version of OBS perhaps.

Please, please help. Thank you.

Andres

THANK YOU! The fix was so simple (of course), I just didn't know what it was. I can't thank you enough, seriously. I was at the end of my rope haha.
