Option Match Project Settings in all render formats

joelsonforte.br wrote on 10/3/2021, 10:03 AM

Magix Team, If you are viewing this post...

Please, if possible, in the future add the Match Project Settings option in the rendering formats. Actually, this option already exists, but it only shows the predefined templates that correspond to the project properties.

What I'm suggesting is an option in all rendering formats that when selected applies the project properties to the rendering format selected. This way, it will no longer be necessary to configure each parameter manually, in addition to several other benefits.

Thanks!

This "Default template" was available in earlier SCS versions, but got dropped somewhere along the way.

Use Voukoder for rendering. No need to struggle through rendertemplates and settings. Voukoder adopts project settings.

While Voukoder, HappyOtterScripts, and the new CuminCoder FrameServer can easily do this, it would be a decided advantage for those wishing to use Vegas "out of the box" without having to install additional apps.

AKA the HappyOtter at https://tools4vegas.com/. System 1: Intel i7-8700k with HD 630 graphics plus an Nvidia RTX4070 graphics card. System 2: Intel i7-3770k with HD 4000 graphics plus an AMD RX550 graphics card. System 3: Laptop. Dell Inspiron Plus 16. Intel i7-11800H, Intel Graphics. Current cameras include Panasonic FZ2500, GoPro Hero11 and Hero8 Black plus a myriad of smartPhone, pocket cameras, video cameras and film cameras going back to the original Nikon S.

This is the view of my (final) render dialog, I just choose between AVC (H.624) and HEVC (H.265), no matter what my project settings are. More 'out of the box' isn't possible and installing Voukoder is really peanuts.

No struggle with resolutions, framerates, bitrates etc. Always top quality at ridiculous small file sizes.

Exactly!

I use Voukoder and HOS to do this easily. It would be very handy to have this option too in the Vegas native rendering models as well.

There are certain formats, however, that have specific parameters that don't change.

My problem is that Vokouder renders don't run on my TV (Panasonic) - at some point in the film it just stops. When I render with Sony AVC - no problems at all.

So I would be very happy about the feature joelsen suggested.
+1

@walter-i.

Have you checked your profile and levels for both a Sony and Voukoder render to make sure they are the same? It may be that Voukoder is setting a higher profile and level which may lead to its failure on your TV. Just a suggestion. You can easily check using MediaInfo.
