Hi all,
I have converted hours and hours of VHS video to MP4 for a client - total around 150 Gb, and want to enable viewing on three devices - PC, Mac and TV,
I have therefore Formatted the USB Hard Drive as FAT32 and kept all MP4s to less than 4Gb. I have used H264/AAC. MP4.
My current problem is that only about half the clips play on my TV. The others bring up "Unsupported Format", even though they're all the same format. Some VHS video I've divided into 3 parts to keep < 4 Gb, and Part 2 plays fine while Parts 1 and 3 do not.
The same three clips all play fine from USB stick, so obviously it's something to do with the HD, but plenty of clips play ok from the same HD. On another TV, they don't play at all from HD but do from USB stick, so something seems to depend on the model and make of the TV
Has anyone else come up against this situation and found any solutions?
Thanks
