Please help me i am desperate, i can't install Vegas Pro 13...

I am trying to solve this problem for 5 hours. I tried everything, run as admin, super administrator mode, take ownership, give privilegies to all folders in program data and all files in program data, i changed all permissions full control read write and i can't still install. I tried litterally everything, installing c++ etc. etc.

Can someone help me. This is happening with vegas 14 and 15 too...

Be sure to let Vegas install it's own .NET version. The ones already installed won't work.

Still looks like there is a permissions/uac problem.

That specific error I have never seen before. For some reason the installer appears to be unable to access the start menu folder to create the appropriate shortcuts. My research would suggest either the Windows installation is messed up or that this is a permissions problem.
