Hi everyone,
I am a new user in Vegas Pro 15 and have worked a long time on a video for a family event scheduled for Friday.
For some reason the sound / music of the clip suddenly became really poor quality.
Before that the sound was really great and I did not change a music file.
I would appreciate your urgent help.

1) Render a small part of your project. Is the sound poor quality on the rendered section when played in a media player?
2) If you start a new project are the same sound/music events still poor quality?

Yes, is this before of after rendering. Either way, a plug-in could have been inadvertently inserted or changed. Try by-passing.. or better yet, removing all the audio plug ins. I'm not sure the later versions of VP do this, but by default, it inserted a comp, gate and EQ on tracks whether you wanted it or not. Without more info, zeroing in on the issue is improbable.
BTW, this should probably be in the Vegas Pro 'AUDIO' section
Have you applied any audio Event FX to your sound/music events or Audio track FX to a track? Can you describe the poor quality audio vs the way it should sound?
I don't know how to apply audio Event FX so if I did it was not on purpose. How can I check this?
Right-click or double-click the GREEN audio plug-in icon in the track header (or audio event) to view any plug-ins. If the normally green icon is grayed out, no FX have been added.
Not likely you accidentally applied an Audio FX. .. What does the "poor quality" sound like ? Is it breaking up? Low Volume? Scratchiness? Poor fidelity? Can you post the good source and also the rendered "bad" sound?
In order to determine that the OP did not render to telephone quality audio, we need the following information:
This may be elementary, but have you closed the project and rebooted the computer? I've had situations where audio went to crap after editing for a long period. Worth a try if you haven't.

First device opened often hijacks the audio drivers in Windows.
Good point Monoparadox .. Elementary is always in order. Start with a clean boot. It's cured a myriad of weirdness and ills for me too.
