Hey,

I have Sony Vegas Pro 15.

I just started using again but the preview window had so much lagg i couldn't even edit!

When i put it on Good it even crashes is there anything wrong with my settings? Any tips?

My computer is kinda good it can run Rust Arma 3 Fortnite Other programs apex legends just some great games i don't think it is the fault of my computer but of some settings and i just saw it says 300 fps like DAMNNN every video i downloaded from youtube downloaded 3 clips of csgo to start editing 300 fps??.. fault of settings in the video or something or.. i tuned it down to 30 fps in sony so it didn't crash.

Any tips or help?

Thank you,

Jack

( btw i don't know much about a computer i game some times as a hobby and want to start editing but i never had this before. )

Added 2 obs video's first one crashed sony vegas so thats why i added a other one,

I think it depends on the very high framerate your source files have ( due to?????)
In Vpro 15 the max framerate for a project is 120fps, in that case Vegas ihas a lower task to recalculate that file for playing smooth than in a project for 30p.
You are forcing the program to do that from 300 till 30, probably a task to big for your hardware.
Maybe if you convert those sourcefiles with a decent converter, you will find on this forum by searching, first to 30fps is goes better.

1, "My computer can play X video game" is not equal to "My computer can do good at Vegas". Both use the GPU extensively, but each puts unique loads on that hardware that require different things of it.

2. If you are capturing video games, there is no reason to capture at frame rates above 60fps. Vegas doesn't output anything above 60fps natively, and Youtube and other popular streaming sites do not support video over 60fps either. You are wasting disk space and processing power, Check the settings in your capture app.

Also, Magix owns Vegas now, not Sony.

Whoever uploaded those files to Youtube had their head in la-la-land..

Try making a Proxy if Vegas.
