Problem with compression for DVD SD

I have a project shot in HD 1920 x 1080 29.97 i and I have to make a DVD 720 X 480. When I open the compression in DVD Archtech, the titles that are red on a black background are horrible. If I do a compression for Blu Ray, it's ok. Software = Vegas Pro 14 and DVD Architect 7.0.0.38. Suggestions to solve this problem. S.V.P.

J'ai un projet tourné en HD 1920  x 1080 29,97 i et je dois en faire un DVD 720 X 480. Quand j'ouvre la compression dans DVD Archtech, le titres qui sont rouge sur fond noir sont horrible. Render your red title at 230-16-16 which is safe.

Render your title background at 16-16-16.

If you start in a DVD project 720x480, you can create and preview your titles in that screen format, instead of down-dithering from 1080p.

A better way to do DVD titles is transparent .psd
