Recording of game words are blurred and unreadable. please help!

I am making a gameplay video where I talk about the game and the features. However when I finished editing, subtitling, and rendering it, the final product quality was terrible. I've looked up 20+ videos on how to fix this and I've changed my project properties settings along with rending it to a new track multiple times, and still nothing! I am afraid the only way I can fix this is by redoing everything over again. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

However that source is from the video in question that was rendered to look like that. Are you referring to a source that has the proper quality?

1. Source is Source.

2. Your Source is 23.976 fps. Your output is 29.97 fps. The mismatch doesn't work. That's a good start for you.

So after reading the faq I see that I would need to render it at 10 or half of that. Render settings recommended Blu-Ray 1920x1080-24p, 25 Mbps. But this still didn't work at all. Are there any clear steps you could give me?

I rendered it at 23.970 on my settings i had prior (not the blue-ray) and it hasnt fixed anything. Am i using the wrong frame rate?

Recorded file (source) or Rendering (Output). The title of this thread is Recording... probably you have a settings problem in Screen capture program or game recording device.

yea i titled it recording because it was a recording of a game I did and edited it using vegas. I don't have a recording problem because when it was finished the video was perfect. It only became unreadable when I rendered it.

Try adjusting the output bitrate to see the difference. You are working in 32 bit floating point. change that to 8bit only and disable resample the video clip properties.

Video framerate of 23.97 and project settings output to 29.97 is not advisable. Your source MP4 file is 10mbps only, next time record in high bitrate like 20mbps++ if you want high quality output.
