Another option is Bulk Rename Utility which, as the name suggests, allows a whole selection of files to be renamed automatically. It is extremely flexible and allows all sorts of ways of renaming/replacing/removing parts of file names that, ironically, actually makes it hard to use if only using it occasionally; that is, until the operational sequence is worked out - and then it's a breeze.
