Start here and forego the bold italics:

The info in Section C is required.

I got it figured out. If I might ask what was the issue with Bold Italics? I only used them to separate comp specs from the issue.

I rather like the high contrast legibility of your post, but bold text can be interpreted as shouting in some circles.

Awe I see...and I thought that only applied to 'all caps'. Thanks John.

That said, welcome to the forums.

I got it figured out.

There may be some here who would appreciate knowing what your solution was. Care to share?

The bold is a bit in ones face so I've removed it.

And as noted, I have edited my reply.

I was using a project from Vegas 14 and I tried different Render settings. When all failed I did a simple Un-install Re-install and created a new project. It rendered fine and then I opened the Vegas 14 project. It rendered fine as well. Exactly what caused that...I don't know but the re-install fixed it. It's rendering like a charm now.

@Kevin-Robinson Had you previously tried starting VP with Ctrl-Shift pressed in order to go back to default settings?

The program was a fresh brand new install. It should have been defaulted all the way around..right? I tried rendering that v14 project immediately.

No, my understanding is that reinstalling doesn't always reset default settings. In fact problems are often solved by just a reset, no need to reinstall.

Yes, a Windows uninstall leaves behind many of the registry entries, folders and other associated data files. When a full reinstall is necessary, I usually recommend a third-party uninstaller, that has the option to scan and delete the pertinent leftover data.
