Rendering Hanging at 95%Vegas Pro 16

Hi Guys

I'm brand new to video editing so excuse any dumb questions

I have recently done my first little project, it was 24 minutes using 11 tracks, it rendered fine the first time, however I had to make a couple of adjustments, literally 5 images and the same number of transitions, but now it wont render, it gets stuck at 95% then hangs, I'm rendering using Magix aav / aac mp4 1080 60fps. I have plenty of HD space available and my rig should be good enough (I hope, but as I said it rendered fine before)

Nvidea gtx 1080 ti

i7-7700k 4.2ghz

16gb ram

any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the first of four videos needed for a project and I can't progress till this is done

What is the location of your tempory files folder and how much space is there?

Can you give a screenshot of the exact Magix AVC/AAC rendertemplate in customized setting like mine?

Thanks for answering, I'll do it a bit later as I've updated Vegas (can't believe I wasn't notified about updates !!!) so I'm giving it another go, then I'll be able to take a screen shot

Patience.

Some codecs rewrite a temp file to your destination starting at exactly 95% eta.

It takes more than 5% of your time to complete, without a progress indication.

A watched pot never boils.

Here you go J-V

I asked you for your indeed customized settings as my example.
Now we don't know what your render settings are.

Well it looks like it was the transitions, I was using a dissolve / distort transition on the images and for some reason it just didn't like it on two of the images, I had cross faded them then dropped the transition effect on them, so I just separated them faded out and dropped the transition in there to get the effect and it seems to have worked, I rendered that part of the video successfully, so I'm rendering the whole thing as I write with everything that can be crossed is crossed and some that really shouldn't be ... If it works out then thanks a million for the help .. and if it doesn't I'll be back weeping like a disgraced evangelist !!!!

Or is that "bragging like a disgraced evangelist?"

Ha ha, it has just finished, so I'm just over the moon despite wasting half of the day and evening getting it sorted, I don't know why this was an issue, maybe 16gb ram isn't enough or maybe a conflict with that transition, anyway thanks for the help people
