Rendering keeps going on and on and on...

I have Vegas Pro 17, just downloaded a week ago. I created a 10 minute video to render. I'm using mostly 4k /24 and a few clips at 1080 /120 for slow motion. Basic stuff. I rendered another movie a day ago just fine, same render settings for 4k. Anyway, it renders down to "time left" to zero but the accumulated time keeps counting up and up. It shows "100%" though. I've forced shutdown twice because I think 10 minutes of this is excessive (only took 7 minutes to render to begin). Bottom line it never rendered. I'm clueless why this might be happening. Should I let it go all night hoping it will finish?

Patience. The counter is an estimate.

Vegas often must parse temp files to complete the render. This time is not included in the estimate.

Share your media properties and render settings if chillin' does not solve your issue.

Thank you, I will be more patient to a point but if I wake up the next day and it's still hung up I may have other issues to research, cheers!

Yes, that is correct, and it sometimes happens.

If that happens, we'll ask you for the information above. It contains clues.

Also, we'll ask you to try turning all hardware acceleration Off.

I thought I had found the answer but it hangs up still. I just posted another thread of similar subject with my settings screen captures. My laptop does not allow to turn off hardware acceleration. Bummer...
