Rendering Settings Wont Save & Open as options on Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro

Hello, I just purchased the Vegas Pro 18 & I'm unable to create a regular video. What I mean by this is, when I attach my video and music together and Render them, on the Trial version of Pro 17, it created an actual video with sound. On the Pro 18 version, it saves to my Laptop and when I open it up, it is a copy of my Editing screen with my video inside it. I've looked to see how its saving as on my Laptop and it will only save as type "Vegas Pro Project File (*.veg)"

Also, I cannot customize my rendering settings. I've watched several YouTube videos in which multiple people were able to tweak their setting to reduce their rendering time, but I cannot. It saved some of my setting but not all even after doing this many times. i.e. Deinterlace method, Resample mode, and Start all new projects with these settings all go back to the default setting.

Regards

Your first problem is you are trying to save your video project, not render a video file. You must select "Render As" from the menu. .veg files are project files.

Your second problem may require a closer look by the VEGAS team. Please file a support ticket at this link (and forgive the convoluted process you have to go through to actually file a claim, they're working on fixing that). Please have your serial number ready when filing your report, they'll ask for it.

For your second issue, you must save your settings by creating a Template with a unique name; the default template names cannot be repurposed.
