Set Equal Volume Amplitude For All Events on One Music Track

I have 12 songs on one music track.  Individually, they all seem to play at a different volume.  I selected all the events and selected Normalize in hopes that I could bring them all up/down to the same volume level.  But some still seem to be playing louder than others.  So I have now resorted to adjusting the volume envelope individually for each event in an attempt to get each song to play at about the same volume level.

Is there an easier way to do this in one operation?

You can try RMS normalization if you have SoundForge.

Or you can download a LUFS/LKFS loudness meter and set each event to the approximately the same value. I use TB_EBU but there are free plugins as well. Newer Vegas Pro has loudness meters built in.

Normalizing peak audio levels alone does not do much for loudness normalizing, which depends on content and compression.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Sounds like there is no quick & easy way to do this.

I ended up just going through each event individually and adjusted the amplitude and/or volume envelope until they all played with about the same loudness.
