swf overlay?

Does VMS16p do not read swf files? is there any setting to tick?

I have these bunch of swf transparent overlays from my other NLE but VMS even do not show them in its explorer.

It once worked but with vector/text based SWF up to Flash version 5 only, any video coded or ActionScript content will break the reading. I think Flash support completely dropped a while ago.

There are still a couple of converters around, but the format is extinct since the internet dropped it.

I know it's novelty but sometimes just throwing one on top will give that 3% extra look.
