Upload to Youtube straight from Vegas or render and then upload?

Hi 😀

Magix Vegas 15 offer the option of upload your movie to Youtube directly. The problem is that you can't see what format and properties is Vegas using to render your video.

The only thing relationed with that is that you can adjust the quality of the final video by choosing the "normal" or "higher" button.

Is it advisable to do this or should I just render as always (Sony AVC, Mainconcept, etc) and configure all parameters by myself?

There is nothing about it in the manual and I want the best possible quality to upload a video.

Greetings. ✌️

I can only speak for myself: I always render first, then watch it, and only then upload.

Can you imagine the silence if everyone only said what he knows?

YouTube constantly changes it's APIs, ostensibly to discourage uploads from nonhumans, in this case, Vegas.

The ability of Vegas' incremental updates to trap these changes is historically poor, at least when it was under Sony, and I personally consider it a soccer- mom feature, that working or no, should be relegated to Movie Studio, which is Magix' entry level product in the Vegas lineup.

When your compliant render is complete, drag it to the YT upload window, and be done with it.
