Do this before you shoot any bugs.

Then, back off any Windows 10 updates that happened recently.

That is just the patch notes for vegas? Also, I recieved a small update the other night I think I recall, Possibly this is why my video clips are now some how corrupted and wont work in vegas?

The raw clips are fine when watched back.

I cant find the properties because as soon as I insert media, it crashes and removes the file from my media explorer.

You're running Build 177. The title of the page that I linked was VEGAS Pro 15 Update 2 (build 261).

It is clearly something to do with vegas not wanting to accept my mp4 files.

Older mp4s recorded < 2 days ago work fine, but newest ones dont.

Musicvid wrote on 2/16/2018, 5:54 PM

We are still waiting for your Mediainfo printouts, one from a file that does work, and from a file that doesn't work.

"All of a sudden" is one way of saying "Something has changed."

Hi again, So I think the issue is because of this;

The rectangular videos don't work in vegas, despite being an mp4.

Yet the square ones, with black bars do.

For some reason, my NVidia shadowplay sometimes records gameplay in my true stretched 4:3 resolution, making the clip unuseable. But it also often stays unstretched, with black bars, which work fine...

Unsure why this happens, please help.

If anyone can find a way to make these rectangular shaped thumbnails useable in Vegas!

How could anyone possibly know that without seeing your file properties??

Last request.

That's not what he meant. Go here and follow it until at least the part about MediaInfo: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/

"Not sure if this is what you meant..."

It not. In Musicvid's post, he pointed to FAQ 17 which leads you here. We want details about what's in the media files from a Mediainfo report like this:

You don't have to post pictures outside this forum. You can upload them to this site:
