Vegas HUB does not download media to Vegas Explorer (Media removed)

Fabrcio-Costa wrote on 1/16/2022, 11:06 AM

My vegas Hub was working, but it stopped transferring media to vegas hub explorer.
Has anyone gone through this problem?
Thanks.

Yes. It doesn't appear to be working.

@Fabrcio-Costa, @Musicvid are you still having problems? We're not seeing any issues on our end but if you are we will investigate further.

When I click Download it now shows up in Hub Explorer, but the second I click "Open File" it says "Removed." Not sure what that means, but it's got me confused.

@Musicvid, Mine has always done that. You have to go to the "Hub Explorer" window to see them. View - Window - Hub Explorer instead of the "Vegas Hub" window (which you are showing) View - Window - Vegas Hub

@jetdv Thanks for confirming that. Yes, the Hub Explorer window is visible in my screen shot. So when the little Download window comes up, do I just ignore it?

jetdv wrote on 1/17/2022, 1:42 PM

@Musicvid, I do as I've learned they, apparently, get moved as soon as downloading has been completed and you have to find them in the "Explorer" window instead. I believe that window should not even show up or it should simply say the download has been completed and to look for it in the Explorer window.

@Musicvid

So when the little Download window comes up, do I just ignore it?

Yes. That window is an unfortunate byproduct of the host and has nothing to do with VEGAS Pro or VEGAS Hub. we are still looking for a way around it, but haven't found it yet.

And to be clear, when @jetdv says "Explorer window" in his post above, he means "Hub Explorer window".

1, in Hub Explorer, click the "folder" button to set your download destination, e.g. MAGIX Projects. There VEGAS creates 2 folders: Mobile Uploads; VEGAS Content

2, go VEGAS Hub, donwload what you will, the downloaded files come automatically into VEGAS Content folder.
