Vegas Movie Studio 15 Not Ready for Prime Time

Saxkat wrote on 4/27/2018, 6:00 AM

I'm very disappointed with the loading and rendering times of Vegas Movie Studio 15. When the video file that I'm trying to edit finally does load in the program, its a pixillated mess. I have noticed that many users are experiencing similar problems. I just downloaded and installed the latest program update (Build 106) but the problems persist. It appears that MAGIX has released a new version of the software without thoroughly testing or debugging it. I'm a musician in a jazz band and I use Movie Studio to edit and post concert videos. Unfortunately, Vegas Movie Studio 15 is unusable in its current form for this purpose. I will be uninstalling it, and trying to go back to an earlier version of the program, which worked fine.

Disabling that dll file did speed up loading of high resolution mp4 video files. However, it did not solve the poor video quality pixillation problem.

That's because you are reporting multiple issues under one topic.

True pixelization is the result of resolution mismatch, which is usually operator caused.
