Vegas Movie Studio - Render MP4 as Apple vs Internet

I am running Sony Movie Studio 12.0 and really like it. It does everything I need in producing videos.

I have a video, created from an Avi produced by Morpheus with audio added via Movie Studio...the video is about 4 1/2 minutes long. When I render this timeline in Movie Studio as an MP4, if I choose to render as Internet HD 720, it produces an MP4 of 265 MB. When I render this same timeline as Apple 720p30, it produces an MP4 of 69 MB, ie about 4 times smaller. When I view each of these rendered MP4 files, I can see no difference in quality. One would think that an MP4 that is 4x larger would have much higher quality, but no. Any thoughts on whether there is really a quality difference in the Internet HD 720.

Go back a page, follow the sticky to provide complete MediaInfo and Vegas properties for each file, including the source.

Internet 720 is giving you 4X the bitrate of Apple 720 hence 4X times the size. Whether you see the difference in quality will depend on how you are viewing it. How are you viewing it? On a big screen TV I would expect to see quality difference in areas of similar colour and during transitions. But on the smaller screens of phones and tablets you might not notice it.
