Vegas Pro 14 Edit doesn't list Ignite Express 2017 plugins

Hi everyone,

I started searching free plugins for Vegas Pro a few days ago and I found Ignite Express 2017. I installed it, but Vegas crashed on startup with Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005). I tried different solutins, none of them worked. I reinstalled (multiple times) Ignite and Vegas works again normally, but the Ignite plugins doesn't show up in the fx or in the generator tab despite the fact that the plugins are in the OFX folder and other Hitfilm FX plugins work perfectly.

What can I do? (I'm using the latest build of Vegas Pro 14 Edit on Windows 8.1, I bought it from Humble Bundle)

Humble Bundle downloads do not include license for any of the packages in the Magix downloads of Pro Edit.

@Musicvid -- Ignite Express is a free suite of very capable VideoFX and Media Generators from FXHome -- aka "HitFilm".  Lots of special effects, keying, etc. Good quality stuff.

@mat_99: I downloaded Ignite Express last summer.  The FX and generators show up in my Vegas 13 (Sony) and my Vegas 14 (Magix/Humble Bundle) but I just noticed they all show a watermark at the moment.  Not sure why.  My HitFilm FX do not show a watermark.

Anyway, there are a TON of Ignite items, and they show up in the Vegas "Video FX" tab and the "Media Generators" tab.  All of them start with "Ignite..." I don't know why you are having trouble, but I can assure you they should show up and work with the Vegas 14 Humble Bundle version.

I had the same problem. I solved by holding CTRL + SHIFT together and double-clicking the Vegas icon. This procedure resets Vegas and causes it to search again for all installed plugins.

@Former user Thank you, now it works perfectly well.

@Tim L Maybe it's a stupid question, but did you activate your Ignite Express?

Thanks for the tip!

some of the plugs are somewhat gimmicky, but some are really useful. their credit roll is impresively stutter free, a long lasting issue with the Vegas ones.
