Hello I am having the same problem, although through enabling Quicktime plug-in I can view some .MOV files but not others.., i've tried some codec packs but no luck, is there any codecs I can use to sort this..? Previously all .MOV would play but now not files I purchased at Shutterstock.., these files now show in Vegas 19 as blue thumbnails with a clapperboard in the middle.., I can not use these in the timeline.

Do not do that; you'll only mess up your installation.

@Graeme-Pratt Post media info on one of your problem files. Instructions here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

Some are not compatible with Vegas and require transcoding before import. Share MediaInfo for more concrete advice.

@Graeme-Pratt You've created another thread of your own so suggest we continue there https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-19-pro-some-mov-files-load-but-others-do-not-blue-thumbnails--132574/

I'll close this thread to avoid duplication as presumably the OP who started this has his problem resolved.
