Vegas turned all my mp3's and mp4's into sfk files

notonly that but it jumed to 2 of my external drives and changed all those mp3s and mp4s to sfk files too.....while leaving my other 4 hard drives alone.....total head scratcher

@Kinvermark Something appears technically strange.

@david-a8563vespertine David, your unusual experiences are obviously not something your fellow forum members can solve for you. Suggest you lodge a ticket with Vegas Support. Provide details of your system and your Vegas Pro serial number. Please keep us advised of developments.

Wait a moment.

What was the output file name you specified in render as dialog?

If it was the same file name as your source file, Vegas would deleted existing file first (showing delete confirmation dialog).

In any case, it should not delete many files at once.

Also when rendering VP, doesn't create a sfk file. A sfk file is created when importing a video(+audio) file into VP.
