Video Card Support

Hi, currently using Vegas 10 and need to upgrade as no longer imports videos from my latest camera or phone but looking at my PC spec had a NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 (2GB dedicated) video card in it - looking at the minimum specs here : https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/vegas-movie-studio/specifications/ says GeForce 9xx or higher - does that mean version 17 will simply point blank not work or will it work but be a bit slow or unuseable ?

Many thanks,

Lawrence

Vegas was and will always (untill VP18) use most the CPU, but a designated video card can help with previewing and rendering.

You will get some GPU assistance with older cards, but a 1660 or better is optimal. Still, don't expect an epiphany.
