Video clips become unsynced when imported into VMS

huskereurocat wrote on 4/15/2020, 4:33 PM

I record my game play via the GeForce Experience built in recorder. My last 3 projects have been having issues with the audio and video becoming desynced when imported into VMS 16 Platinum. The clips, which can be very lengthy (up to 30 or more minutes), start out just fine. During the length of the clip, though, the audio has be to be moved to match the video. Clips play just fine when playing with VLC or the MS stock video player, but only desync when imported into VMS. Can anyone think of why this would be happening?

My rig: R5 3600x with 32GB ram on an X370 MoBo / GTX1060 6GB GPU / 960 EVO M.2 OS Drive

I would do that, but the beginning of the clip is just fine. It's only further on in the clip that the desync happens. Seems to be progressive through the clip. But there has to be a reason that a clip becomes desynced only when imported into VMS. Just the normal recorded clip is just fine all the way through.

This was recorded using the GeForce Experience recorder that comes with the Nvidia GPU drivers.

These are the properties of the clip once imported into VMS from the project media window.

It does help.

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/avc-xavc-s-issues-in-vp15-try-disabling-so4compoundplug-dll--108345/

If that doesn't fix It, Convert your file in Handbrake, choosing Constant Frame Rate, and Same as Source in the Video tab.

Thanks, this seems to be the solution. Disabling that So4compoundplug.dll has changed everything back to normal. Outstanding!!!!!!!
