Video clips import in slow motion

I'm using capture video in Movie Studio 13. The Camera is input through a 3.0 USB capture card. The audio is fine but the video is in slow motion approximately half speed making the video clip twice as long. I'm sure this is an fps setting issue and I've spent many hours trying to sort it out in the two manuals. Any suggestions?

Although Vegas Vidcap may recognize a USB capture device, it is not set up for it. it is configured for 1394 Firewire from DV and HDV tape cameras.

Your capture card came with its own capture utility, and that is the recommended way.
