Video Events FX not saving

Hi,

Whenever I try and save a setting of VEF on say Brightness and Contrast to apply again to another clip it doesn't save or come up on the drop down under preset.

Could it be down to the install being on my D drive rather than my C?

The standard templates cannot be overwriiten.

You need to call it another name.

If you want to see such a preset at the tab FX, you have to restart the program.
But there are 2 easier ways inside the same instance of Vegas Pro 17:
1. Most easy, copy the event on which you made that preset and past it with "Selectively Past Event Attributes"/only effects
2. Click on the FX button of another event and choose from the list Brightness & Contrast>>>select your made preset

This is strange as in the past all I had to do is type in a name associated with any changes made with the fx then press save and it would get listed along with the preset.
