VP15 261 - stutery video and random clip glitches after AVC render

Working on a 2 min project and after rendering (in either Magix or Sony AVC) I am seeing a random rendered stuttering of some parts of the project and then phantom glitches of video out of time within the rendered clip (kind of like a 1 sec insert of a clip in another part of the project randomly inserted in other parts of the final rendered video). Stuttering is not a factor of the playback device, something is going wrong in the render. Smart resample is turned off and I've tried GPU render both on and off. Files are being decoded with compoundplug.dll

Video is a mix of DJI drone 4K (Inspire 1 X5 and Mavic Pro), Canon DSLR (5DMkiii), and OSMO X3 footage. Source and render is 1080P 29.97fps.

Am running Win 10 64Bit ver 1709 build 16299.192, an Intel i5-6600K 3.50GHz CPU, 32GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon R9 200 series graphics card (software ver 17.7). OS is on a SSD, render and files are on a separate HHD.

Was Quantize to Frames and Snapping turned on when you introduced your media?

If not, you may want to start with a fresh project.

For further support, post your file properties.

This might help. At least worth a look through before digging deeper: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-why-does-my-rendered-video-look-bad-troubleshooting-quality--103361/

Thanks Nick, had already followed this thread you referenced. Didn't help.

Basic project settings are: 1920x1080, progressive, 29.97fps, progressive download enabled, tried VBR and CBR, tried 2 pass on and off, tried deblocking on and off, audio is 320, best, and default color.
