I have some mpg files that I’m converting to h.264 and may or may not want to tweak. The original video was recorded on mini DV tape, captured via FireWire into an ancient (ca. 2004) version of Vegas, then exported to mpg for eventual burning to DVD. So basically, this footage has been 100% digital from start to finish. That brings me to my question. Now using Vegas 18 Pro. In the settings for the waveform monitor I have 7.5 IRE unchecked, and Studio RGB checked. Is that correct for this scenario?
