Weird Resolution

Dusk225 wrote on 12/23/2018, 6:09 PM

I'm using Movie Studio Platinum 15 and for some reason, when I import OBS videos, the resolution is in the center and is much smaller than what I recorded it in. I record in 1280x720 and the resolution it shows in the preview and rendered video is something like 320x800 or something. It wasn't doing this when I first opened stuff in it, but shortly after that, it started.

Perhaps you've fallen into the trap of placing your clips on the Picture-in-Picture track? If so either remove or switch off the PIP FX that is on the track. Or move your videos to another normal track.

Dusk225 wrote on 12/23/2018, 8:07 PM

I always make sure to delete that track before putting any projects in, so it can't be that.

Dusk225 wrote on 12/23/2018, 8:09 PM

Upon further inspection, it was that but the track didn't exist yet was still there? Maybe it was a default thing, I dunno. But I fixed it, so thank you!
