OK, so I know this is slighty off topic as this has to do with the settings in my camera but I hope you pardon me... was thinking someone else with more experience of video might be able to give me a pointer.
So I run white balance on auto because that gives a good result except for one thing, if I wear a white t-shirt or a white guitar, that white object while be really clear whilst the rest in the frame (me included) will become very dark. Don't know, I'm looking for pointers here. Do I need to adjust the white balance manually every time, depending on the color of the objects? That would be kinda troublesome as I frequently change guitar in my videos so sometimes it'll be a red guitar, then a white, then red, then black, then white and... I guess you get it. Any tips on how to avoid this? The camera is a Sony fdr ax 100. And thanks in advance!
