And that talking head being the lowest common element, it makes absolutely no difference. Either format is really good.

That said, you will probably impress more lawyers if you tell them you are shooting in XAVC-S.

I believe the X70 shoots in XAVC Long which is hard to edit in Vegas. I would do a test and take which ever codec is easier to edit.
