YouTube app trouble not showing 720p

I own Vegas Movie Studio 16 Platinum. I used this software for about 3 years. I been having trouble previously after rendering my videos on to YouTube, on my YouTube app it's supposed to have the option to view in 720p after 1080p 60 fps I use a Canon DSLR camera. I am 90% certain I am rendering my video correctly as I have succeeded in the past with no problem but then again it is starting to do this more often I don't publish videos until I confirm it's showing the 720p option on my side. What can I do? And any reason to why this would suddenly be happening?

This seems to be a problem with Youtube transcoding your video and it's probably just an issue that will be resolved over some short time without you having to do anything.

If you uploaded your video in 1080p60 it will transcode 720p60, 480p, 360p, 240p and 144p.

This problem of quality settings now showing up is extremely common when uploading large projects and higher resolutions like 4K and above.

Just give it some time. If it isn't resolved by youtube in a day or so I'd suggest contacting them.

Also, have you tried another device to make sure the 720p60 option is not showing?

I admire your knowledge thank you so much for answering my question. I will wait for a day, I usaully thought it would take only 1 hour or 2. The word "Transcoding" is new to me I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question I feel better now waiting for it to generate! And yes I actually asked a co-worker today if he'd go on his YouTube app and check to see if the option showed on his phone and it did! He had the option to watch in 720p 60 fps and 1080p 60 fps. So at least I know now it has nothing to do with my software

There is a possibility it can have something to do with my cellphone if others are able to view but some how mine tends to lack. I will wait a few days than go from there 👍

All you have to do is post a link to one of your Youtube videos so others here can check it out on their devices.

It is not showing up the way it is supposed too on my device so im certain it won't show for others. I went to T-mobile to figure if it was my cellphone but it showed the same on multiple phones I used at there store same result on the YouTube app.

I have also waited a few days it still has not shown. I reset my Camera incase it may have to do with build up, I have never reset my camera since I bought it till now. I took over 4000 shots on it..I tried upgrading my software to Vegas Platinum 17 still no change! I spoke to Geek Squad at Best Buy they say it has nothing to do with my laptop. By the way I did forget to mention I've been rendering files using an HP laptop core i5 10th gen. Would that have anything to do with the issue? It worked previously, but as the time went on I seen this problem occuring more often. I also made sure my YouTube app was updated still no fix.

Would you care to share that link to the video and provide the uploaded file details so we can confirm or rule out your multiple theories?

I will later if I run into this problem again I currently deleted the video and tried uploading with a different song. I think it may have to do with the song I added to my video. I set properties to 720-60p aspect ratio at square 1,0000 and the NTSC is at 59.94 frames. So I'm sure that method will work in rendering so that 720p60 fps shows as well as 1080p60 fps.
