Just wanted to say I’ve been missing the chats and so. Recovery is taking time. If our Esteemed Mod whats to boot this to off topic so be it 😎 - it’s all good.
@Grazie Been keeping up on the relevant research reports and the one that's being misquoted about long term damage is this one out of China. There's good info in it but it's not being reported accurately. They took blood tests on patients at their worst and upon discharge and found metabolites in the bloodstream had not returned to normal... suggesting the liver had not yet fully recovered. Without follow up study on those patients, which has not been done, there's no data or basis for conclusions about long-term implications yet. But out of an abundance of caution, you might consider waiting for your own follow-up blood tests and holding off on the infamous Grouse for just a little while. And perhaps an herbal regimen aimed at liver cleanse and repair... Milk Thistle and Bupleurum would be my choices.
@Howard-Vigorita - Yes, my liver and the metabolic numbers were being crawled over by the specialists here, big time. I have my DATA and I am on a PATHWAY of observations. I had my last SETS of Bloods taken including Liver Function, I mean this was three hours prior to being sprung. And yes, I know this is NOT the end, but, to paraphrase, a great man “This is the beginning of the End”
Today, two months to the day, when I was released back into the community, I had my follow-up X-ray and I’m clear! Yay! 😀. And yes @Howard-Vigorita, bloods were taken too. I’ll need to wait on them 😉.

Great news! I hope your bloodwork comes back all normal. 🙂
Btw, how's the situation in your places around the world now? are your places has been going to 'New Normal' or still in lockdowns? Do most people able to follow the procedures in 'New Normal'?
Just had a Telecom follow up with the Hospital Doc. Great chap! COVID19 induced Blood Sats are back to normal, Liver being the worrisome one, yes, was high and outside the range, but now in the middle of the normal range.
I understand from reports out of Indonesia that recovery times improve with exposure to the sun. You got the glasses
I heard something along the same lines a month or so ago on either CNN or Fox News. They interviewed a senior doctor from a NYC hospital who spoke about reports from some hospitals that CV-19 patients often had a vitamin D deficiency though it was not as yet clear as to how vitamin D possibly reduces the severity of CV-19 with regards to getting infected, suffering or recovery.
One of the best sources of vitamin D is the sun. Even though we're now in winter here, I make sure that I go for a walk in the middle of the day especially when the sun is out, and make sure I walk on the sunnier pavements.
@Grazie ... I'm very glad to hear the good news. Congrats.
I suspect that you'll have no probs with others obeying social distancing when you're out wearing the mask - but more from a fashion pov. Only joking. Cheers.
@Dexcon - LOL😉 - Walking and bathing under the Sun; taking VD - yup lots of anecdotes; social distancing - "My where did you get that Mask?" normally raise my right Claw and mew like a Kitty.
As we know, it would appear the second COVID19-Tsunami wave is building throughout my Country.
Tonight I drove home past my Wembley Stadium. It’s Arch tonight is Blood red. I got a chill remembering the same colour on London’s Lights, I saw from my Hospital Bed back in April.
I apologise if this is irrelevant here, but then again maybe not.
Be kind and accepting to each other. We are going to need more and more towards Winter.

Nice thoughts Grazie .. you'd think it would be so in the world ...
Hunkered down and doing some editing .. I really don't know how bad our local neighborhood is right now .. but it only takes one to pass it to me. Luckily I can basically stay home .. hope you are doing well and have full immunity !!
... hope you are doing well and have full immunity !!
It’s looking like naturally acquired Immunity - catching COVID19- may tail off overtime. How long that period is, is too early to say. Personally, I’m hoping it lasts long enough to get me to Inoculation. Here’s the next thought: Will my antibodies interfere with then inoculation?
Honestly, It was Wembley Stadiums Red Arch that brought it back to me, and then chap in the next room who succumbed, and then realising just how friggin’ fortunate and lucky I am.
@john_dennis - Mrs Grazie and I are Boogieing around the Lounge! LUV IT! I used to have hair like that.... And those Flairs.... And that FONT!!! Thanks JD. 😊 Boogie on down.
I can just see the headlines in the UK press: "Boogie Wonderland Hits London Again". BBC, ITV and Sky send news crews to the boogie epicentre for live crosses. TF, NHK, ZDF and CNN take live feeds of boogie events as they unfold in London.
To all in the UK, France, Germany and the rest of Europe, a 2nd wave if it hits will need much more personal fortitude to endure than earlier this year. Please be strong and resilient. We will get through this.
