Cant open Video , only audio ?

Hi all

I just install Trail version Vegas Movie Studio 14 platinium before buy it.

All works fine but there is a problem with files i got recorded from CCTV Cameras

open only Audio, when i try open manual it said "the selected file does not contain video material"

file can be open normaly with any video player , how to fix that :) HELP

Need a little more information. Mp4 tells nothing about the CODECS.

Nothing wrong with your video except it's variable frame rate, which is not editor-friendly. Also, it's declaring older codec ID's with what looks like modern codecs.

If you are comfortable with a command line, this may do the trick. Input file does not "have" to be .mov

If not, See if this helps.

If still not, RE-ENCODING in Handbrake to CFR may be the easiest low-stress solution.

yea u right i Re-encoded and all working :)

bad news is i got almost 500gb data to encode :/

If your system is Rock solid and video is all the same audio and everything, you can run a Batch encode in Handbrake. Your box will get warm, though.
