Create DVD Architect chapters without re-rendering whole project?

I just rendered a 2-hour video in Vegas Pro 16 build 352, rendered to mpg, but forgot to check the "save project markers" checkbox. That means there's no info for a selection menu in DVD Architect. Can I create the markers that Architect needs, without having to re-render the whole project in Vegas? (which is quite time-consuming)

You can use the Vegasaur Export Markers feature.

https://vegasaur.com/markers

You can also render only audio in wav with the marks and then change the internal settings of DVD Architect so that when importing this audio it can recognize the marks by the audio file. Then click on "Load Markers" that the marks will be recognized.

You should be able to paste your correctly formatted data in View/Window/Edit Details, with your dvda-compliant mpeg-2 on the timeline, and smart render to a new video file.

This will also place Keyframes at your newly-designated chapter marks, which aids in more accurate indexing.

I did the reverse of this for many years, and my advice is don't be a quitter. It may take several tries to get every setting just right. When this is so, the smart render in Vegas and muxing in Architect should only take a couple of minutes each.
